The Renaissance Festival opens Sept. 4 and runs through Oct. 17 at 130th and State, Bonner Springs. It is open Labor Day.
   A 16th century English village comes to life with entertainment, food, fun and activities for the family. The theme of the first weekend is Tales of the Scheherazade. The event is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekends.
