Here are a few Ash Wednesday services offered by local churches.

   Christ the King Catholic Church, 3024 N. 53rd, will hold an Ash Wednesday Mass at 6 p.m. Feb. 22.

   St. Paul Episcopal Church, 1300 N. 18th, will have an Ash Wednesday service with imposition of ashes at 7 p.m. Feb. 22.

   St. Patrick Catholic Church, 1086 N. 94th, will hold Ash Wednesday Masses at 5:15 p.m. and 7 p.m. Feb. 22.

   Wyandotte United Methodist Church, 7901 Oakland, will hold a sermon series, “A Journey to Hope,” during Lent. The series will start on Ash Wednesday, at 7 p.m. Feb. 22.

   Zion United Church of Christ, 2711 N. 72nd, has scheduled an Ash Wednesday service at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 22.
