The Shepherd’s Center of Kansas City, Kan., will present its monthly Adventures in Learning starting at 9 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 17, at the First Baptist Church, 29th and Minnesota Avenue, Kansas City, Kan.

   Adventures is Learning is a monthly learning series held the third Friday of every month at First Baptist Church. Designed to celebrate and engage older adults, Adventures in Learning has been providing enrichment, fellowship and a noon meal for more than 25 years in Wyandotte County. Adventures in Learning provides free morning health screenings, selections of informational and educational workshops, and lunch with an entertaining program.

   Adventures in Learning programs are always free and open to all; lunch cost is $4, and lunch reservations are required by calling the Shepherd’s Center office at 913-281-8909.
