The second in a series of Business Solution breakfast meetings at Kansas City Kansas Community College has been rescheduled for Friday, March 8.
Mehgan Flynn, director of the World Trade Center Kansas City, will be the featured speaker at the breakfast meeting to be held at 8 a.m. in Room 3632 of the Flint Building on the KCKCC campus at 7250 State Ave. Reservations are still available for the meeting which will focus on “Creating a Global Perspective for Small Business and Entrepreneurs.”
The World Trade Center Kansas City is a regional organization dedicated to assisting small businesses with global expansion. In addition, Flynn is the co-founder of the online retail store, WyCo Vintage. Based in Kansas City, Kan., it exports comprise nearly half of total sales.
“With 96 percent of the world’s consumers outside the United States’ borders, it is critical for entrepreneurs and businesses to think and act globally,” Flynn said. “Through this program, participants can learn about the vast resources available to small businesses for starting or expanding up their global operations.”
