Confidential and comprehensive business consulting at no charge will be offered in the coming months by the Division of Workforce Development at Kansas City Kansas Community College.
Held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. the first Wednesday of the month, the consultations will begin Feb. 6. Other dates are March 6, April 3, May 1, June 5, July 10, Aug. 7 and Sept. 4.
“Many people often have ideas that they want to turn into businesses so attending a session with a skilled consultant is a fabulous launching pad to make that idea become a reality,” said Jay Matlack, Workforce Development coordinator.
Matlack said persons already in business or who want to be in business in the Kansas counties of Wyandotte, Johnson and Miami can schedule appointments for confidential and comprehensive business consulting with skilled small business professionals from the Kansas Small Business Development Center (KSBDC).
“These business professionals have expertise in many areas including marketing and sales, accounting, financial analysis and cost control, human resources, time management, inventory control, business acquisition and business liquidation or sale,” Matlack said.
Persons wishing to register or needing additional information are urged to contact Jay Matlack at 913-288-7210 or email@example.com. Additional information on other programs offered by Workforce Development can be found at www.kckcc.edu.
